As a nonprofit association, we bring Fortune 500 executives and successful entrepreneurs to your team as mentors. At SCORE counseling is always free-of-charge. Our volunteers, who now generally reside in Monterey County, donate their time and talent.

They have grown businesses and solved many problems along the way. Now they want to share their knowledge and help make your endeavors truly successful. Business counseling relationships can last just a few sessions or a number of years, based on your needs as an entrepreneur.

Prepare for your counseling session by arriving with a well-thought-out business idea, series of questions, and any information that will help you maximize your one-on-one consultation.

SCORE volunteers often counsel in teams, bringing the strength of multiple business experiences to the table. Also, our counselors may be available to visit you at your place of business to learn more about your venture and concerns
